About 2Dto3D
2Dto3D turns a flat picture — a photo, a logo, a doodle — into a rounded 3D object you can spin, light and download.
What it is
Upload an image and 2Dto3D reads its silhouette, builds a height field from it, and sculpts a smooth, injection-moulded-looking shell with studio lighting. About thirty seconds later you get a model you can orbit with your mouse, adjust the depth of, and export as a GLB file or a rendered PNG.
Who it's for
- Designers who want a quick 3D mockup of a logo or sticker
- Makers previewing how flat art would look as a physical object
- Anyone curious about what their picture looks like with volume
Everything runs in your browser
Image processing, sculpting and export all happen locally on your device. Your picture is never sent to a server, which is also why it works offline once the page has loaded.
Honest limits
2Dto3D estimates depth from a single flat image, so it produces a stylised relief rather than a true reconstruction of a real object. Clean subjects on plain backgrounds give by far the best results.
